Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This privacy notice has been prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, regarding the processing of personal data of people who visit roboget.com.tr and contact us. ROBOGET is a brand of GET Otomasyon. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by GET Otomasyon (the “Company”) as the data controller.

2. Personal data processed

  • Identity data: first name, last name.
  • Contact data: phone number, email address.
  • Customer transaction data: your company, the service you are interested in, your quote request and message content.
  • Transaction security data: IP address, date and time of form submission, browser and device information, site access logs.
  • Marketing and usage data: site usage statistics obtained through cookies (only with your consent).

We do not request special categories of personal data (such as health or biometric data) through our site. Please do not share such data in forms or messages.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Receiving and evaluating your quote and information requests and responding to you,
  • Conducting pre-contractual discussions about the service you request,
  • Carrying out communication activities,
  • Running information security processes and preventing misuse of the site and unwanted form submissions (spam),
  • Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from authorised institutions,
  • With your consent, producing statistics on site usage and improving the site.

4. Legal grounds for processing

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (responding to quote and information requests),
  • Processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations (e.g. access logs under Law No. 5651),
  • Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (information security, spam prevention),
  • Your explicit consent, for analytics cookies.

5. Transfer of personal data

Limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to the following recipients:

  • Service providers in Türkiye that host the site and provide email services,
  • Legally authorised public institutions and judicial authorities (upon request and to the extent required by law),
  • With your consent, Google LLC (Google Analytics) for site usage statistics. As this provider’s servers are located abroad, this transfer is based on your explicit consent in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.
  • If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the information you share is transmitted over infrastructure provided by WhatsApp LLC / Meta Platforms, whose use is subject to its own privacy terms.

Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Method of collection

Your personal data is collected partly by automated and partly by non-automated means, through the information you share with us via the quote form on our site, email, phone and WhatsApp, and through cookies and server logs during your visit.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set out in the applicable legislation. Quote and information requests that do not result in a contract are retained for a maximum of 2 (two) years; requests that turn into a contractual relationship are kept for the retention periods set out in the relevant legislation. When the period expires, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Cookies

Our site may use cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that produce statistics on site usage. Cookies other than strictly necessary ones are used only with your consent. You can change your cookie preferences or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

9. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • Request information about it if it has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
  • Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data is transferred,
  • Request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • Request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • Request that the correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom your data was transferred,
  • Object to any outcome against you arising from the analysis of your data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Claim compensation for damages if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

10. How to apply

You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing to the address above, together with information that identifies you, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or send them to info@roboget.com.tr from an email address you have previously provided to us and that is registered in our system. Requests are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on their nature. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
